Jallikattu first match of the year 2018: Inauguration ceremony in Pudukkottai

The first Jallikattu tournament in Pudukottai district this year (2018) has started today (Tuesday).

Minister of Health Wijepabaskar launched the competition at Thachankurichchi near Gandharvakottai.

Before the start of the competition, District Collector S. Ganesh, Minister Wijepabaskar took the oath at the Jallikattu contest and promised to not kill the cows.

According to Chief Minister Edapati's advice, this year's Jallikattu tournaments will be held uninterrupted and the presence of the Pallikottai district of Jallikattu districts.
