President Nicolas Maduro said that major opposition parties have been banned for the next year's presidential election in Venezuela.
He said only the parties who contested on Sunday's mayoral election could contest the presidential election.
Leaders of the parties like Justice Bust, Popular Party and Democrat Action boycotted the election claiming that the electoral system was a function.
President Maduro has asserted that Venezuela's administration is absolutely reliable.
In his speech Sunday, the opposition said that the opposition "disappeared from the political map."
