Barghat Malko, a Christian who returned to Mosul after the defeat of the ISS, said, "It is important to pray here to continue Christian life."
St. Paul's Church is the only church in Mosul.
Prior to the ISS organization's active involvement in 2014, church leaders claim that there were 35,000 Christians in Mosul.
