Thousands of student researchers from various districts of Tamil Nadu have participated in the 25th National Children's Science Conference in Chennai.

The conference's coordinators said 282 science programs were submitted to the students of state and private schools of Tamil Nadu after three months of research.

The Central Government's Department of Science and Technology and Tamil Nadu Government and Tamilnadu Scientific Movement, together with NGOs, are conducting national level competition in three stages.
Officials said the event was organized for the first time by the disabled children.
A discovery for a friend
The students from Perambalur said that their colleagues were a disadvantaged and that they had designed the 'Easy Walker' device to make it difficult to walk.
"We've prepared a 'Easy Walker' device to walk with our wooden poles, PVC piped pieces and lighter cotton. By using it, our friend can not help other people without interruption, "said Gokulraj and Krupakar.

The students of the same research group said that the Nagaraj and the K.Karthy have been requested to the District Collector and their goal is to provide the bus facility to our villages through their discovery.
Amararajan, a Tamil Nadu science movement, told that this year's national level competition was attended by government school students in rural areas.
"Science Professors, a team of scholars will examine and analyze students' experiences in this competition to increase the interest in science and encourage new innovations. Thirty schemes in Tamil Nadu will be sent to the national examination final, "Amarajan said
