The Supreme Court dismissed the petition filed by Amruta, who claimed herself as the daughter of the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. The Supreme Court has also directed the Karnataka High Court to approach the matter.

In this case, Amruta of Bangalore filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking to declare herself as Jayalalithaa's daughter and demand DNA to prove that she is my mother.
In the petition, Amrutha had said that he was not given the fact that he had been given a birthday and was not responsible for the dominance of Jayalalithaa's name.
He also said that he could not access the lower court because he had political tensions.
The case came to the Supreme Court today (Monday). The Supreme Court, which said that the case can not be directly inquired, has ordered the Karnataka High Court to approach the case.
