Prabhudheva to release Sai Pallavi’s Karu trailer on 18th November

Sai Pallavi made her Telugu debut with Sekhar Kammula’s romantic comedy film, Fidaa where she shared the screen space with Varun Tej and it was produced by Dil Raju. The film was critically acclaimed and garnered good reviews. The actress is now working on her next flick which is a bi-lingual, Karu in Tamil and Kanam in Telugu. It is being helmed by AL Vijay and Naga Shourya is playing the lead role. Karu marks Sai Pallavi’s Kollywood debut. Kanam is woman centric horror drama based on the sensitive issue of abortion. Recently during the media interaction, the film maker opened up about the film and said Kanam focuses on the bond between a mother and four year old daughter. I watched Premam as well as Kali. I loved Sai Pallavi’s performance in both. She has done a wonderful job in Karu. Sai Pallavi will also dub in her own voice for Karu, which will also release in Telugu as Kanam.”

According to the latest update, the trailer of the film will be released by Prabhudheva on 18th November, Saturday at 5 pm. Currently Sai Pallavi is busy in Natural star Nani starrer MCA (Middle Class Abbayi) which is scheduled to hit the theaters in December. She will start to work on Maari 2 starring Dhanush. Balaji Mohan who is going to helm Maari 2 has assured she will have a very strong role in the film.
