Ravi Shastri has said that he should first look at his career before criticizing Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who won the World Cup twice.

Some former players have raised question marks on Mahendra Singh Dhoni's role. Players like Virender Sehwag, Sourav Ganguly and Ajit Agarkar have expressed their opinion that Dhoni should be picked out of the Twenty20 squad. When asked about this, Ravi Shastri said, "When I used to televise people asked me questions. You have to ask questions to continue the show. Dhoni is a superstar and he is among the great players. So it can always be discussed. He is a great player, so he is talking about him. When your career is so wonderful, you become a good subject.
